Seminar on energy law in Reykjavik on 18 September 2023
We are excited to announce an upcoming afternoon seminar on energy law, which is a collaboration between BBA//Fjeldco and the Advanced LLM in Energy Law (NSELP), on 18 September 2023 at the Hilton Reykjavik Nordica from 13:30 to 17:00.
Please join us for an insightful exploration of key legal issues relating to energy matters - climate change, the energy transition process, geothermal energy, district heating and wind power - with presentations from Daniel Bodanky, professor at Arizona State University, Hilmar Gunnlaugsson, chairman of the government working group on utilisation of wind energy in Iceland and Antoine Lochet, a legal expert in Energy law and head of BBA//Fjeldco energy team. In addition, a comparative perspective on the utilisation of wind energy will be delivered by the NSELP programme directors from the Universities of Groningen (Silke Goldberg), Aberdeen (John Paterson), Oslo (Catherine Banet) and Copenhagen (Beatriz Martinez Romera).
